A Shed Worth a Stop

Orange flamingos, succulents, and shiplap. Nothing says summer quite like this shed. With a modern color scheme and a retro twist, our display building from South By Southwest was a showstopper. Known for its rockin’ music and displays of innovative technology, the South By Southwest (SXSW) festival was a great place for us to show off our innovative building. Luckily, this March we got to display a shed right at the Home Depot photo booth.

The 10×10 TR-800 was customized and filled with tons of unexpected design surprises. The open doorway was framed with custom transom windows and orange draperies that were added to the sidewall windows as well. The exterior featured a two-tone white color scheme that let all the orange accents around the shed pop. The team also put together a custom shutter design for the sidewall windows.

The interior was styled and designed by Jacin Fitzgerald Events, who focused on a retro modern style. With plenty of greenery including tropical plants, succulents, and orange gerbera daisies in the window boxes, the shed would fit into any backyard garden. Whether using the shed for a home office, She Shed, or even a guest room, the versatile furniture fits any need. The shed has lots of natural and electric lighting, making it a bright spot in any backyard, but it made the perfect backdrop for a Home Depot photo booth.
