Janie was on the hunt for a storage solution. Like many of our customers, her outdoor gear and tools had taken over the garage and she needed to reorganize the space. After considering DIY shed plans, a storage unit, or hiring a specialized contractor, Janie found all the storage space (and customer service) she needed at Tuff Shed.
She first came to Tuff Shed with a recommendation from her brother-in-law; the proud owner of a new shed. “After he suggested Tuff Shed, I went down to the Home Depot to check them out. Then I spoke with the local representative and I knew it was the way to go for me,” says Janie. She worked out the final design after touring a few displays and taking a spin on our online design tool. The biggest factors in her design were interior height, shelving, and windows for natural light. And with her new 12×10 TR-700, she has all three.
In order for her installation to run smoothly, Janie worked with an additional contractor to prep the build site. Her backyard has a fairly steep slope and she wanted to make sure the space was completely level. With the space clear and level, installation day flew by without a hitch. “Ordering online was simple and the crew that came to install the shed were on time, profession, and did a great job,” says Janie. “I can’t believe it only took them a few hours to put it up.”
Luckily for us, Janie even recorded her installation day, sending us a time lapse of the process.
Janie wasted no time in putting her new storage shed to work. After installation day, she immediately started organizing the shed and getting her garage back in order. “I love that it’s completely sealed so everything will stay dirt and dust free; unlike my aging garage,” laughs Janie.
As for choosing Tuff Shed over an offsite rental unit or an additional contractor? “I would choose it again and again,” she notes. “The cost was fair for what I was getting and it makes me happy every time I look at it.”
